ELF is governed by community volunteers who serve as trustees.
We are D64 parents, teachers, administrators and others who believe that our most important asset is the children of our community and the most important investment we can make is in their education.
We get together to plan events, raise awareness for ELF, communicate with our schools and raise money so that we can award teachers the grants that they work so hard to pull together.
We are involved in not only our kids' schools, but all the schools in the district, and we work together with Dr. Olson and his staff to help ensure our kids are not only learning, but having fun and doing something innovative.
MORE SPECIFICALLY, WHAT ELF'S DO:
WE'RE LOOKING FOR A FEW GOOD 'ELFS'
Help District 64 reach new heights! You are invited to become a District 64 Elementary Learning Foundation (ELF) Trustee. Come learn what we are about on the third Wednesday of each month at 7:00 pm. One meeting doesn't equal a commitment. Attend multiple meetings and you can choose if you want to get involved. A term is typically 3 years, but we understand that you are busy and appreciate any time commitment you have to offer! So, first come learn about ELF, and then decide what you want to do.
