Too little to run?  That's ok - Ride along in your stroller and have mom or dad push you.  This event is STROLLER FRIENDLY!  We just ask that you are courteous to the other runners:  Stay to the back and to the right if you are walking, pass on the left if you are running.  Just make sure you tell mom and dad to decorate the stroller.

Are you a tiny tyke?   For our littlest runners, we will have a loop around Hodges Park for our 1-5 year old tots to race against each other.  This fun loop will offer parents full view of their kiddos racing against each other and they'll feel super proud wearing their medals the rest of the day!

Want to run but not sure if a 5k is for you?  That's ok - there will be a modified route that is 3k instead of 5k.  It's the perfect time for a new runner to head back to the Start/Finish.  The final distance will be around 1.8 miles.

Ready to run your FIRST 5k? GREAT!  This is a great run to start with.  Speed doesn't matter.  Set a goal to finish, and you will.  Run a little, walk a little.  And, have fun!  That's the goal of this event!

Seasoned runner?  SUPER!  We welcome you to join in on the fun.  How great will it be to wake up to do a fun run without worry of pace and mileage?  You'll be in good company with kids (maybe even  your own) and local families. And you'll know that there is no pressure on you to perform at your peak performance.

Don't want to run at all?  That's ok!  We will have a designated cheer area for EVERY SCHOOL in the district!  Check back closer to event date to see where your school will line up!  Come cheer on your runners.  There *may* even be a prize for the school with the most spirit!

The Halloween Hustle is a non-competitive running event that will bring together kids with their families, community members, teachers and administrators.  There's something for everyone!

VOLUNTEER POSITIONS AVAILABLE!

An event like this cannot take place without the help of volunteers who believe in the mission of ELF.  It is a great way to give back to the community and help out a worthy cause.  If participating in the run is not for you, but you want to be there, please click here.
