ELF GRANT AWARDS
ELF has raised over $500,000 and funded more than 200 grants for teachers, administrators and staff since its inception in 1984. Grants support professional development, program development and research throughout the district. Submitted grants can fund a variety of experiences ranging from individual classroom projects to district-wide initiatives. Grant applications are due in March and award recipients are contacted in April and announced at the Board of Education Meeting in May.
ELF has awarded nearly $60,000 to support 12 grants for the 2010-2011 school year - the most awarded in ELF's history!
